We are an international company with offices
in the USA and Asia. Our management team has over fifty years
experience in gift and collectible products and is dedicated
to creating such wonderful products that every discriminating
consumer will treasure owning a complete collection. We hope
that a collector will marvel at the exquisite detail of every
piece and ask, "How did theydothat?"
Our creative process is focused on both accuracy and craftsmanship.
Extensive reference information such as historical photographs,
architectural drawings and other materials is used to document
the actual design of the original item or place. Where possible,
hundreds of photographs are taken from every angle. Only then
is our workshop authorized to undertake the very skillful and
tedious work of creating the original scale model. Everything
from clay to computer technology is used to capture both the
essence and the substance of the design.
Once the original model is created, refined and approved, the
production process is started with extensive and skillful craftsmen
applying their talent. Only the finest materials are used in
the reproductions. If the completed item is to be in pewter,
Heritage Workshop used only fine pewter, which contains no lead
and can meet the ASTM requirement. At every step in the reproduction
process, exacting quality reviews are undertaken and only the
very best are allowed to be branded as a Heritage Workshop product.
When you examine one of our products closely, you will note
that each item is produced one at a time and that means that
there are small individualizing differences caused by our skilled
artist doing the final buffing, hand-painting and assembly.
When the item is finally completed, it is placed in a special
gift box and a card is inserted that provides the background
and history surrounding the item. Again, it is our hope that
you will open the package, marvel at the quality and detail
of the item and ask, "how did they do that?"
